I've been trying to incorporate my programming background with some of the art that I create. This is a little test that I created over the summer.
I created a Processing (Java) program to take the video input of my computers camera, analyze it and create an output video where the luminosity is represented with ASCII characters. My program was based largely on this one.
I also used a Python program, from the Echonest to splice up a Radiohead song and allow me to piece the musical chunks back together in a reverse (sort of) order.

First Post
I may be working backwards a little bit but I wanted first to try the new Blogger interface and second create another home for some media projects that I've created in Iowa. These are some abstract images that I've been working on recently. So, without further ado, let's take a look at some.
All of these were taken in Iowa City. Of course, some have been manipulated in Photoshop, but mainly just messing with the levels and colors.
